Building Regulations

No filming is allowed without permission from Odawa Casino and the Planning Committee. No items may be attached or hung on the wall, draping or permanent fixtures without prior approval from the Planning Committee. No lighter than air balloons (helium, etc) are permitted in the building.

Security

Each bag, box, case and enclosed item will be searched by security during the load-in AND load-out process. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Many exhibitors find it helpful and quicker to use clear plastic containers that can be seen through easily by security and also bring their own small carts due to limited supply of carts provided by the casino.

Exhibitor Entrance/Load-In

Please see Show Details above for information on times. Check-in and load-in are located in the rear of the building. You cannot move product through the casino from the main entrance. You will be redirected by security. Please be aware the load-in door and Ovation Hall are on two different floors. To load into Ovation Hall, everything from the load-in area must be brought up in an elevator, dimensions are 8’4” deep, 4’4” wide and 7’ tall. Carts will be available to bring your supplies into the building.

Exhibitor Parking

Exhibitor parking will be available in the team member parking area, adjacent to the load-in door in the rear of the building.

Exhibitor Badges

An exhibitor badge will be issued upon entry to the facility. Please wear this badge while in back of house areas and remove this badge upon departure.

Load-Out

Access to the elevator and loading area will not be guaranteed until the event ends. You cannot move product through the casino main entrance. You will be redirected by security. All displays must be moved out by the time listed in the Show Details section above.

Exhibitor Refreshments

Outside food and beverage are not permitted in Odawa Casino Resort. Beverages are available on the casino floor. Small snacks will be provided in the afternoon at Project Connect by the high school culinary arts students. The Copper Café and Waas No De’ Buffet restaurants are available for food purchases.

Admission

Free for all guests who attend event. Guests under 19 are permitted in Ovation Hall, but are not allowed on the casino floor.

Security, Insurance and Liability

We will maintain strict security in the show room; however, exhibitors should never assume any building is completely secure. Each exhibitor is responsible for the security of all items in their display. Neither the Project Connect Planning Committee nor Odawa Casino is responsible for lost or stolen items.

Exhibiting companies and individuals are required to have an insurance certificate covering liability for exhibit contents, personnel and show guests within the exhibit space. Exhibitors assume all responsibility and shall indemnify and exempt Odawa Casino Resort and the Project Connect Planning Committee from all claims for damages.

Hotel Accommodations

Odawa Casino Resort Hotel has rooms available with a shuttle between the casino and hotel.
