NMCAA provides FREE IRS-Certified Tax Preparation to help eligible community members file their taxes for free.

The process is simple and easy, and takes just one to two weeks to complete! 

1. Call 231-347-9070 to get a checklist and other documents mailed to you.

2. Gather all tax documents on the checklist. 

3. Sign up for a 15 minute review with a tax intake specialist at Project Connect. Call ahead 231-647-9070 or schedule when you arrive at the event.

4. During your time slot, sit down with a tax intake specialist to go over your tax documents and questions. 

5. Your documents will be securely transported to a tax preparer in our Petoskey office. 

6. You will be updated via phone every step of the way!

7. When your taxes are finished you can pick them up at our Petoskey office where you will have a chance to review, ask questions and make any necessary changes before they are e-filed.
